1) Urban Conservation Program Coordinator: The primary goal of the position is to coordinate urban conservation efforts in and around Albuquerque, such as tree planting, greenhouse & nursery operations, arroyo restoration, and other conservation corps projects. The Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with multiple partners, particularly local government and community organizations in Albuquerque, to plan and implement these projects. The Coordinator will also provide direct support to RMYC crews, supporting the personal and professional development of crew members and crew supervisors. This is a full–time, temporary position, funded through August 2020.
2) Conservation Program Coordinator: The Conservation Program Coordinator provides logistical, technical, and administrative support to multiple crews of young adults, ages 17-25, who are completing conservation projects throughout New Mexico. Key areas of support include project coordination, technical skills training, risk management, personnel management, and youth development. This is a full–time, permanent position based in Albuquerque, NM.
