Program Coordinator

Ciudad SWCD seeks a Program Coordinator to manage grant-funded projects in natural resource preservation and restoration. Current example projects include wildfire risk reduction, watershed health and restoration, erosion control, and urban agricultural conservation. Example tasks include scheduling thinning projects for private properties, organizing and reporting on volunteer events, interfacing with District fiscal personnel to prepare reimbursement requests, coordinating with partner organizations, and identifying new grant opportunities. The ideal candidate will have education and experience in natural resources and/or agriculture, skills in organization and records management, and excellent interpersonal communications. The position involves a 30-hour per week commitment, and is eligible for state retirement and benefits programs. Compensation is negotiable, depending on education and experience.
