Job Summary:The Endangered Species Coalition is seeking a Field Representative in New Mexico to hep develop, run, and win local and national campaigns to defend our endangered species. The NM Field Representative will engage with ESC member groups, allied groups, the public, elected officials, the media and frontline communities on endangered species and environmental justice issues, while serving as a field organizer for national Endangered Species Act defense efforts.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in political science, environmental science, policy, wildlife management, communication, biology, sociology or a related field preferred. Advanced degree is a plus.
Work Experience:
- 3 or more years of experience in advocacy campaigning
- Demonstrated experience leading campaigns, meeting with decision makers and working with coalitions
- Demonstrated experience developing partnerships and engaging with communities of color.
