The Open Space Visitor Center (OSVC) has opportunities for Environmental Education Assistants
The OSVC is seeking individuals with an interest in Environmental Education and Natural Resources to help with programs and activities. Experience in education or environmental work is preferred. Primary duties include assisting staff with the Summer Explorer Camp for youth, gardening and craft activities, weekend programs and projects such as the Pollination Celebration, Moonrise Concert Series, and more. This position’s hours are at least 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible will require working some weekends. Applicants should be aware that much of the activities are held outdoors at the Open Space Visitor Center and other nearby Open Space managed properties such as the Petroglyph National Monument and the Rio Grande bosque.
