The BioPark has just posted a School Programs Environmental Educator position. This position is part of a team that is responsible for administering, planning and coordinating all BioPark outreach, both statewide and local, as well as running on-ground field trips for the Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach. Some animal handling skills will be required.
We are looking for a great team member with mad teaching skills! The BioPark is in the middle of revamping our school and youth based programs. So, you will be at the forefront of developing a fun, engaging, interactive education program.
This position is 40 hours per week with days variable based on program schedules. It is hired through a staffing agency for the New Mexico BioPark Society, and is not a City of Albuquerque position.
